Alex Bloomfield

Alex is a communications professional who has studied and worked on both sides of the Atlantic. Prior to joining FinRegLab, she worked as the Development and External Affairs associate at the American Institute for Contemporary German Studies (AICGS) at Johns Hopkins University, where she spearheaded several successful fundraising and grant initiatives. These efforts came after she led the effort to revive AICGS’ development team, which had been dissolved a decade prior. Alex has also worked in marketing communications for the German companies NOMOS Glashütte in New York, where she helped expand the brand’s business in North America, and Siemens in Munich, Germany, where she was part of the newly established HR communications team. She received her M.A. from Universität Konstanz, Germany, her B.A. at the University of Richmond, Virginia, and is fluent in German.
