AI in Financial Services

In the months before announcing our research project on the use of machine learning models in credit underwriting, FinRegLab recorded podcasts with executives from the participating companies – Fiddler Labs; H2O.ai; Relational AI; SolasAI/BLDS, LLC; Stratyfy; and Zest AI. These companies represent a gamut of expertise and offerings in machine learning, data science, and explainability. The conversations focus on the individual companies’ origins and the speakers’ perspectives about various explainability and fairness concerns that are shaping how lenders, regulators, and other stakeholders are approaching the potential adoption of machine learning models for credit underwriting.
